Invitation to two disputations: Oliver Schacht and Philipp Schwarz

Dear members of University of Hamburg Business School,

We take pleasure in informing you that on Thursday, 30 April 2026, at University of Hamburg, Moorweidenstr. 18, room 2029, these two disputations will take place:

- at 14h00 with Oliver Schacht to his thesis „Essays on Causal Machine Learning: Methodological Advances and Applications in Business Analytics“ and

- at 15h30 with Philipp Schwarz to his thesis „Essays on the Application of Causal Methods in Production Systems“.

The members of the examination commission in both cases are Prof. Dr. K. Haase (chair), Prof. Dr. M. Spindler, Prof. Dr. M. Merz, Prof. Dr. A. Szimayer.
