Myriam Rapior received the highest award of the German federal ministry of food and agriculture by agricultral minister Cem Özdemir. She received the price for her work in the future commission of agriculture of the German government.

Within her dissertation, Myriam investigates sustainable practices of Multinational Corporations in global value chains. Agricultural value chains are of particular interest due to human rights violations and low environmental standards occurring at plantations.”
