Our research and academic instruction at the Institute of Logistics, Transport and Production focus on management within  logistics, transport and production companies and the quantitative methods prevailing in this field.

Prospective students will gain a general insight into logistric, transport and production systems and attain knowledge of how to approach, analyze and solve real-life problems using modern software applications. We will, e.g., cover discrete choice models deployed to forecast transport demand.

We will utilize geographic information systems to visualize and analyze spatial data. Algebraic modeling languages will be mostly used to model and solve optimization problems. For extremely big clusters, a special decomposition procedure is implemented.
