The research focus of the Department of Strategic Management is on the impact of internationalization on various management areas. In particular, we seek to analyze human rights issues and environmental issues in global value chains, international market entry strategies, foreign assignments and international aspects of corporate social responsibility. Moreover, we are interested in strategies of firms at the base of the pyramid. The regional emphasis is on emerging markets and high-risk countries.
Our research is published in leading international journals, such as Business and Society Review, Journal of Cleaner Production, Business Strategy and the Environment, International Business Review, International Journal of Media Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of International Management, Management International Review, South Asian Journal of Global Business Research, Teaching in Higher Education and Team Performance Management. We also publish articles in newspapers and practitioner-oriented journals.
