Study Planning

On this page, you will find the medium-term course planning of the Focus Field for the next three semesters. This preview is intended to help you plan your studies. Despite careful planning, we cannot guarantee that the courses will take place in the respective semester. Only the official course announcement in STiNE is binding. If you have specific questions about a particular course, please contact the responsible staff member.

In addition to the core modules, both the Bachelor's and Master's programs occasionally offer lectures on current topics. These so-called "Current Issues" modules are regular courses that can be included in the Focus Field program like other modules. The specific lecture topic is usually announced shortly before the start of the semester. If a "Current Issues" module has already been scheduled, it will be displayed in the overview below.

Registration for exams is possible up to 8 days and deregistration up to 4 days before the respective exam date. Other types of assessments, e.g., term papers, are excluded. (Example: Exam date: 10.07.2025, 10:15–11:45; registration deadline: 02.07.2025, 23:59; deregistration deadline: 06.07.2025, 23:59)

Course and Exam Registration

Registration for exams is possible up to 8 days before the exam date, and deregistration up to 4 days before. Other exam types, such as term papers, are exempt.

Compensatory Measures for Exams

If you have been granted compensatory measures, please note the following:

Implementing compensatory measures often requires organizational preparation, such as arranging additional rooms, supervisors, or special aids. This is especially relevant for written and oral exams.

You must contact your examiners independently and in good time—by 30.11. (for the winter semester) or 31.05. (for the summer semester), but at least four weeks before the start of the respective exam period. You retain the right, like all other students, to register or deregister during the official registration periods or to withdraw from an exam for important reasons after the deregistration deadline. In such cases, please inform your academic office and examiners as soon as possible.

Inform your examiners that you intend to take the exam under compensatory conditions and provide them with your current notification of granted measures. The specific implementation can then be discussed directly with the examiner. This ensures that necessary arrangements are made in time.

For questions or uncertainties, you may also contact the Academic Office for support. Applications for new, modified, or extended compensatory measures can still be submitted via the BWL Academic Office. Ensure that your examiners are informed in a timely manner; otherwise, your compensatory measures cannot be implemented.
