Alumni start-up Taxdoo acquires 57 million Euros

The start-up Taxdoo, founded by three alumni of the Faculty of Business Administration, received a further 57 million Euros in funding. In 2020, 17 million Euros were already invested in the start-up, resulting in investment capital amounting in 74 million Euros by now. The company is valued at approx. 350 million Euros.
The three alumni – Dr. Matthias Allmendinger, Dr. Roger Gothmann und Dr. Christian Königsheim – are former research assistants of Prof. Dr. Markus Nöth, who is Professor of Banking & Behavioral Finance.
The start-up assists small and medium-sized e-commerce retailers to automate complex VAT accounting in other European countries.
