The collaborative project Startup Port operates according to the motto Anyone Can Found. Founders receive coaching in a number of ways or have the opportunity to network with each other. Startup Port combines the support services of 9 higher education and research institutions in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. Below are 2 exciting courses planned for the upcoming weeks:
Student Training for Entrepreneurial Promotion (STEP)—application deadline is 15 March 2023!
“Launching a start-up is a big step.” “Do I believe I can do that?” “Is founding a start-up the right thing for me?” What is our advice? Give it a go!
STEP is a practice-oriented entrepreneurship training program that focuses on longevity. Over 12 sessions, you learn about entrepreneurial processes in teams by means of actual founding projects,
thus gaining confidence in your entrepreneurial abilities and developing your start-up skills. In addition, you receive necessary evidence-based knowledge on the topic of founding. At the end of the program, you will be much better placed to decide whether founding a start-up is something for you.
STEP will be held during Summer Semester 2023 and is aimed at students, doctoral researchers, and employees at the collaborating higher education and research institutions. The obligatory kick-off session for the training program is on 5 April 2023, 5:30–7:30 pm. Registration is open until 15 March 2023.
The training will take place in English.
