EURO Excellence in Practice Award finalist 2nd place (2021)

The EURO Excellence in Practice Award of the European Operational Research Association (The Association of European Operational Research Societies) annually rewards outstanding research with clear practical relevance.

Prof. Dr Knut Haase with Dr Matthes Koch (both Institute of Logistics, Transport and Production), Prof. Dr Sven Müller (Chair of Operations Management, Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg) and Matthias Kasper (TU Dresden) took second place with research on "A Pilgrim Scheduling Approach to Increase Safety During the Hajj".
