The course will take place entirely in presence in a PC pool. You can access the computers in the PC-Pool only with your STiNE-account.
Lectures will alternate with exercises and case studies on the SAP system. In addition, there will be coursework (three further case studies) which must be completed independently and the successful completion of which is a prerequisite for admission to the examination. These assignments can also be completed outside the course (prerequisite: notebook/tablet with a stable internet connection).
Registration
In order to participate in this course it is obligatory to register in STiNE during the STiNE registration periods.
Course Evaluation
Evaluation Type: exam
The examination dates will be published in STiNE. The exams will be held at the university.
Registration for the exams in STiNE within the registration periods is mandatory (also for students who repeat the exam!).
Successful completion of the coursework (three case studies) is a prerequisite for admission to the exam.
Contents:
- Use, architecture, functionality, introduction and customizing of software systems for enterprise resource planning (in particular SAP S/4HANA)
- Operational business processes, especially in sales, procurement and production
- Design and implementation of such business processes in SAP S/4HANA
- Processing case studies on these business processes in SAP S/4HANA
- Learning how to use the SAP S/4HANA system from the user's perspective
Learning objective:
- Acquisition of knowledge in the use, architecture, functionality, introduction and customizing of ERP systems (esp. SAP S/4HANA)
- Acquisition of business management knowledge of business processes, particularly in sales, procurement and production
- Acquisition of the ability to support typical operational business processes from corporate practice through the use of ERP systems
- Learning how to use SAP S/4HANA, particularly from a user and manager perspective
