IWI @ the 6th „Nacht des Wissens“
18 November 2015, by Giselind Werner
On November 7, 2015 the 6th „Nacht des Wissens“ (Night of Knowledge) took place in many educational institutions all around Hamburg. Visitors could marvel at exhibition objects, grasp what was shown during experiments and inform themselves thoroughly about many different topics. And so they did at the IWI exhibition stand in the west wing of the University main building at Edmund-Siemers-Allee: the poster exhibition of the institute incurred many a curious look. The three posters with the topics “A Decision Support System to mitigate the Impact of Berth Errors”, “Sharing and Coordination to reduce Transportation-raised Pollution”, and “Flexible Supply Chain Planning for Stochastic Catastrophic Environments” raised a lot of attention, from which many interesting talks with the IWI staff and phd-students ensued.
