New Alexander-von-Humboldt fellowship at the IWI: Dr. Malek Sarhani

Since September 2, 2019 the Institute of Information Systems is pleased to cooperate with a guest researcher, who has received an Alexander-von-Humboldt fellowship: Dr. Malek Sarhani from the College of Computer Science of Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco will stay at our institute until August 31, 2020 and will conduct his research in the topic areas of machine learning, logistic prediction problems, and the interaction between machine learning and optimization. These are also research areas related to the topic of his PhD thesis: "Advances in Particle Swarms and Support Vectors: Design for mixing Predictive Modeling and Intelligent Optimization with Practice and Logistics". We are looking forward to a fruitful research cooperation!
