Prof. Dr. Stefan Voß and Prof. Dr. Jan Recker have two good reasons to be very pleased.
According to the collaborative citation indicators and the author database of Stanford University and the publishing house Elsevier BV, they both belong to an honorable circle: to the 2% of the top group of all scientists cited worldwide. The ranking is based on a database that, according to its authors, is the first "large-scale database that systematically ranks all the most-cited scientists in each and every scientific field to a sufficient ranking depth" (cf.: Ioannidis et al (2019)). The data and more detailed information can be found here in Table_1_Authors_career_2020_wopp_extracted_202108.xlsx.
Another reason to be happy is the Google Scholar Profile Ranking of UHH members, also ranked by citations, where Prof. Voß is ranked 7th UHH-wide and Prof. Recker is ranked 10th. Source: Google Scholar.
IWI congratulates both Professors on these extraordinary rankings!
