From August 26-29, 2024 the LOGMS 24 - „Digital Waves in Logistics and Maritime Systems: Sailing Towards Efficiency“ takes place at the University of Hamburg's east wing of Edmund-Siemers-Allee (ESA East). The conference is organized by Prof. Stefan Voß and Dr. Leonard Heilig from the Institute of Information Systems. The objective of this conference is to provide a forum for exchanging ideas on the latest developments in the field of logistics and maritime systems among participants from universities and related industries around the world and to seek opportunities for collaboration among its participants. As the global volatility of shipping and logistics intensifies during various crises, optimizing global supply chains is becoming an imperative. In our global environment, it is of the utmost importance to create efficient and adaptive supply chains by utilizing smart technologies such as AI, IoT, and Big Data. LOGMS 2024 is meant to provide an open academic discussion on these topics.
