Value creation and value capture with digitalized multisensory experiential offerings
Ongoing research project: In a multiple case study of seven German providers of experiential offerings, we explored how these providers have digitalized their offerings (such as spirits tastings, yoga classes, crafting workshops) during the recent COVID-19 pandemic. Through our inductive theorizing, based on established guidelines for grounded theorizing, we created an initial theoretical framework in which we link the novel mechanisms we have extracted that describe how these firms create and capture value through their digitalized experiential offerings.

The digital design of extended-reality experiential offerings
Ongoing DSR research project: A multiple case study of experiential offering providers that seeks to retrospectively extract relevant design knowledge in order to evaluate and reformulate previously developed design principles for digital experiential offerings. In a design-archaeological approach, we focus on experiential offerings that rely on different types of immersive-systems mediation.
