In our research, we explore how organizations deal with the opportunities and challenges of digitalization and artificial intelligence. We are interested in how work in large organizations is transformed through digital innovations and AI, how products or processes can be digitalized or improved with AI, how startups bring new digital and AI offerings to the market, and how digital solutions can be used to make our work and lives more sustainable. We have expertise in multiple qualitative, quantitative, and computational field research methods. Our main research interests include

We always do our research in the field, directly with firms who are confronted with the opportunities and challenges. We work both with large, incumbent organizations (such as Edeka, Woolworths, Volkswagen, SAP, Hilti, Commonwealth Bank, Lufthansa, Ubisoft, Bertelsmann, and others) and small- and medium-sized digital-first companies (such as Vytal, Cognigy.AI, Guidecom, Ultimaker, Auticon, Tins & Tales, and others).
