Who in Hamburg does not know about Car2Go or DriveNow? Who has not yet heard of the TESLA? And: who does not wonder about the question which changes carsharing and autonomous vehicles will bring to our transport networks? One of our MSc graduates in Information Systems, Mr. Marco Bohmbach, examined this question in his master thesis and received this year's "Logistikpreis der Metropolregion Hamburg" for that. In his award-winning thesis with the topic: "Autonomous Vehicles as Drivers for Sustainable Mobility in Carsharing" Mr.Bohmbach sheds, for instance, light on the question which influence autonomous vehicles and also carsharing models will have on the future traffic situation with regards to emission volume and mileage. On February 28, 2018 the price was solemnly presented during the 27th "Hamburger Logistik-Kolloquium". Supervisors of the thesis were Dr. Frederik Schulte and Prof. Dr. Stefan Voß.
