Brief Bio

Carolin Holtermann (she) is a Doctorate Researcher in Data Science at the University of Hamburg.

In 2021, she completed her Master's degree in Data Science at the University of Mannheim. As part of her master's thesis, she researched the intersection of Computational Argumentation, Ethics and Sustainability in AI as well as Modular Learning. She was able to publish the results of her thesis in a long paper and present it at the ACL 2022 Conference. After her graduation, she worked as a Data Science Consultant in a company that uses machine learning to optimise supply chain processes.
