DFG Research Group: How social media is changing marketing

Together with Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf, the Erich Pommer Institute, and the Marketing Center Münster, our DFG research unit hosts a conference about big data within the movie business. The event takes place on September 22/23 in Potsdam and Berlin.
During the two days program, the conference focuses on the current developments within the movie industry, driven by big data and algorithms. Speakers from both sides, Science and Management, present potentials and risks, which increasingly effect the industry. Best practices from Europe and the US show the current trends and how the smart usage of big data can improve the daily business.
