Johanna Lorenz and Jan Recker published a new article about what happens when digital innovation becomes physically coupled with the human body. The paper examines the emergence of digital devices that are in or on human bodies, how body-device feedback loops reshape human agency, and how new forms of dependencies emerge for users of such devices.

The article is entitled "When Digital Innovation Meets the Human Body: Bodily Digital Devices and Technosomatic Entanglements" and will be published in the Journal of the Association for Information Systems. A preprint is available here.
