Together with Johanna Lorenz, Jan Recker published an article about on the question of what happens when digital innovation becomes physically coupled with the human body. We examine the emergence of digital devices that are in or on our human bodies, how body-device feedback loops reshape human agency, and how new forms of dependencies emerge for users of such devices.
