Today there is a guest lecture in English in ESA H at 4:15 pm in Advanced Topics in Digital Technology and Innovation Management titled Hybrid by design: 8 Humans. 26 Agents. 1 Team. A New Kind of Company by Virginia Thrun, founder of New Work Talent.
The presentation focuses on how, at New Work Talent 26, AI agents work alongside the human team as permanent team members—with their own roles, duties, and responsibilities. Among other things, it explores what this means for company formation, hiring, culture, collaboration, and organization.
About the speaker:
Virginia Thrun is the founder of New Work Talent (NWT), a Hamburg-based HR-tech company building the infrastructure for a more diverse, life-phase-oriented, and AI-ready labor market. Under the brands Mom Hunting and Ocean's Million, NWT runs a reverse recruiting platform connecting companies with over 4,000 highly qualified talents who have been overlooked by traditional hiring. In partnership with Leaders of AI, NWT also runs Female Leaders of AI, a program closing the female AI gap in organizations.
NWT is itself a hybrid organization: a human team working alongside 26 AI agents as full colleagues — an ongoing experiment in what a company can look like in the age of AI.
