Welcome to the website of the Nucleus Professorship for Information Systems and Digital Innovation at the Universität Hamburg!

Our professorship is funded through the Excellence Strategy of the Federal and State Governments.

In our work, we explore how ow organizations deal with the opportunities and challenges of digitalization and artificial intelligence. We are engaged scholars, working in the field directly with the firms that are presented with these opportunities and challenges. Through our research, we try to develop solutions that robust and rigorous, theoretically important but also practically applicable. Our teaching builds on the key concepts and findings from our research to inform and prepare the next generation of digital leaders in the business world. We are also committed to help make Germany and in particular the Hamburg region a thriving ecosystem for digital and AI startups and we help mentor emerging young firms whenever we can.
