Urs (they/he) is a doctoral researcher in the trustworthy AI group at the University of Hamburg within the CLICCS (Climate, Climatic Change and Society) Cluster of Excellence.
They received their Bachelor’s degree in Natural Language Processing and their Master’s in Computational Linguistics at the University of Stuttgart. Urs has worked on the semantics of multi-word expressions, scientific text, multilingual modelling and on the intersection of NLP and political science. Further interests include linguistics, AI bias and fairness.
Having started their doctoral work in 2026, their current research within CLICCS focuses on narratives and framings in media reporting on climate change and climate action.
