Research Center for Media and Communication

The Research Center Media and Communication (RCMC) bundles media-related research at the University of Hamburg in four faculties, coordinates it with the activities conducted at the Hans Bredow Institute and develops new initiatives in this area. It is the largest media science network in Germany and one of the largest in Europe. In addition to interdisciplinary research projects, the center initiates events and publications and promotes international media science exchange. The RCMC has over 40 members.
