Knowledge Transfer in Business Administration
Center for Technology, Innovation, and Market Entry (TIME)
The Center for Technology, Innovation, and Market Entry (TIME) combines expertise from various disciplines: technology management, computer science, engineering, marketing and management, as well as entrepreneurship. The center connects the Business School with the Science City in Hamburg and focuses on profound, digital and data-driven technology inventions. It collaborates with transfer specialists from the MIN Faculty, DESY, and the Hamburg University of Technology to strengthen innovation transfer.
TIME integrates the Management Transfer Lab (MTL) as the central unit for entrepreneurship and serves as a key hub for the activities of the Business School, the University of Hamburg, and the IMPOSSIBLE FOUNDERS startup factory.

The Management Transfer Lab is part of the transfer activities of the Business School. Its offerings are often aimed at students across the entire University of Hamburg and beyond. Through networks like the Hamburg Research Alliance PIER PLUS and Startup Port, there are strong connections between the various faculties of the University of Hamburg and universities and colleges in Hamburg and northern Germany.
