Transfer
Knowledge transfer or "third mission" refers to the task of making the knowledge, which is generated in the faculty, available to society and usable for the economy, while at the same time absorbing impulses from the non-university world for research and teaching. Interactive knowledge transfer is therefore at the center of all third-mission activities.
Management Transfer Lab
The Management Transfer Lab of the Faculty of Business Administration (Hamburg Business School) pools our professors’ close ties with management practitioners. We are highly committed to 4 disciplinary groups:
- start-up support for students and doctoral students
- career support for students and doctoral students at companies and non-profit organizations
- lectures by professionals during classes and practical cooperation on final theses
- research transfer with companies and non-profit organizations for practical implementation of our research findings
In addition, mentoring has a high priority in this context.
