Finding an internship or job abroad
- Faculty job board: The internship and job platform features jobs from Faculty contacts and other major firms in Germany and around the globe. Internships on the job board are typically paid.
- DAAD: Organizes internships and provides general information about internships abroad
- AIESEC: An intercultural organization with information about internships around the globe
- In Antwerp: Antwerp is a beautiful city and has the second largest port in Europe. Our partner, the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Antwerp, can provide an information package with a list of firms who hire working students and interns. - Commercial operators: For operators, search "Praktika im Ausland" or similar online
Funding your internship
There are several ways to get funding for your internship abroad. These often have strict application windows - check now and apply early!
- Erasmus+ Traineeship: A monthly subsidy for up to two months per internship (maximum total four months)
- Hamburglobal: Monthly subsidy for up to five months (also for studies and language and technical courses)
- DAAD: Funding through DAAD and information about other funding possibilities
- Other possible funding channels
