Coworking Space

The coworking space affiliated with the MTL offers founders and those interested in founding a space to put their theoretical start-up plans into practice. The coworking space can be used by all faculties of the university. Time slots for use can be arranged via the booking portal. EXIST teams without a B-identifier (B-Kennung) can contact exist.bwl"AT"uni-hamburg.de to coordinate the use of the space. 

Interested individuals will have access to a variety of hardware and software devices (including 3D printers, eye trackers, camera equipment) that can be used for prototyping, product development or product visualization. Some of these devices can be borrowed via the hardware rental service. There are two usage options available: The devices can be borrowed for home use or used directly on site in the coworking space. Both options are offered in the corresponding booking system.

The coworking space will also serve as a venue for workshops and events that provide insights into start-up practice and specific know-how on starting a business.

The coworking space is therefore much more than merely a well-equipped room. Rather, it is a creative space and meeting point on campus where innovative business ideas can be developed, optimized, tested and implemented. The coworking space also offers space for a close exchange between founders, scientists and practitioners and is therefore an integral part of the MTL's transfer concept.
