The Business School congratulates the new doctoral graduate in October and introduces her with a short profile:

Dr. Carolin Brinkmann

Title of the dissertation:

Essays on Health Economic Evaluation, Well-being and Willingness to Pay Measurement

Content:

The dissertation project aimed to advance methods of health economic evaluation with a focus on integrating well-being and measuring willingness to pay in health care. A health economic model demonstrated the cost-effectiveness of an innovative therapy for prostate cancer.

Supervisor:

Thank you to Prof. Dr. Tom Stargardt and Prof. Dr. Jonas Schreyögg for their supervision as well as to Prof. Dr. Hans-Helmut König (chair) and Prof. Dr. Johanna Kokot (examiner) for being part of the doctoral examination commission.

Plans for the future:

I would like to deepen my academic profile and continue my research at the University of Hamburg Business School.
