Business decisions today are influenced by countless different factors, which is why the BSc in Business Administration in Hamburg is also variously and closely linked with other disciplines such as mathematics, psychology, and law. The program imparts the fundamental theories of business administration (accounting, balance sheets, investments, finances, corporate management, production and logistics, commercial private law, micro and macroeconomics, etc.) and business administration methodologies (mathematics, statistics, etc.) to enable students to analyze and solve economic problems independently in their professional lives. The program also offers insight into company decisions on strategic, organizational, and analytical levels. Our goal is to enable students to use their knowledge of business administration independently and act responsibly in corporate and administrative contexts. In their third year, students can focus on 1 of 8 areas (including finance and insurance, marketing and media, or corporate leadership).

If you have decided to pursue a BSc in Business Administration at University of Hamburg or have already been admitted to the program and are prepared to start studying in the upcoming winter semester, then you can also take a preparatory math course. This free course is a good opportunity to refresh your math skills and lay the groundwork for your studies.
