At this year's summer semester graduation ceremony in the Faculty of Business Administration (30 June), Malte Willms and Lisa Ballat were given the first-time award for the best final theses on ethics, responsibility, and sustainability. Ballat received the award, sponsored by Mazars, for her master's thesis, a comparative study on the way in which multinational corporations contribute to slowing down species extinction. Willms received the award for his master's thesis, an empirical analysis on the effects of label designs with regard to animal well-being and conservation. The awards are each worth €500.
