The Faculty of Business Administration has submitted its first report as a signatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME).
The report details how the Faculty incorporates ethics, responsibility, and sustainability (ERS) into its programs, research, and administration. It is broken down into the following categories: Purpose, Values, Teach, Research, Partner, Practice, and Share.
“The PRME report illustrates our commitment to ethics, responsibility, and sustainability in research and education,” said Faculty Representative for Sustainability Prof. Simone Neumann. “ERS is central to the Faculty’s mission to develop future leaders for a sustainable future.”
In the last few years, the Faculty has made significant progress in relation to ERS, Prof. Neumann said. Today, over 40% of research papers were related to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the majority of bachelor courses now include ERS content.
“We are aware that implementing sustainable principles in research and education is a long-term process that constantly challenges us,” says Dean of the School, Prof. Henrik Sattler. “But it is an indispensable part of our self-image.”
The report can be downloaded from the PRME website. The Faculty became a signatory in 2023.
