We are proud to announce that in the recently published research ranking of WirtschaftsWoche, the University of Hamburg's research in business administration was ranked 3rd in Germany and 6th in the overall ranking for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

This achievement highlights our commitment to excellence in research, maintaining top positions for over 10 years. "My thanks go to all the researchers who have contributed to this achievement," said the Dean of the Business School, Prof. Henrik Sattler.

The ranking is based on global publications across nearly 860 business administration journals from 2020 to 2024. Key factors considered in the ranking include the reputation of the journals and the number of authors, which affects the distribution of the achieved scores. The ranking for the DACH region was compiled by the Konjunkturforschungsstelle (KOF) at ETH Zurich.
