At the invitation of Program Director Prof. Guido Voigt, international students from the Master’s program in Business Administration gathered for a career counseling session.
International master’s students in business administration had the opportunity to learn about job opportunities in Hamburg and the surrounding area at an evening event held at the Haus der Betriebswirtschaft.
Program Director Prof. Guido Voigt, together with program coordinators Niels Neier and Nafiseh Sajjadi, extended the invitation. Daniel Vollstedt from the University of Hamburg’s Career Center served as a speaker, outlining legal requirements, general conditions, and available support options. He introduced various job boards and emphasized the importance of learning German to secure a part-time student job or an internship. Attendees came from countries such as Iran, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and China and were able to ask individual questions.
During an informal wrap-up, there was a valuable exchange between the students and attendees from the School, which provided important insights into the needs of international students.
