International exchange:Visit by a Chinese Delegation from Ningbo

Researchers and lecturers from eastern China visited the University of Hamburg Business School to learn more about the German academic system.
A group of around 20 people from Zhejiang Wanli University in Ningbo, eastern China, visited the University of Hamburg Business School on Thursday. These included researchers and lecturers from the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, the Faculty of Cultural and Communication Sciences, the Faculty of Design, the Faculty of Information and Intelligent Engineering and the Faculty of Environmental Sciences.
The aim of the visit was to gain an impression of the German science system. In addition to a visit to the University of Hamburg Business School, the program includes Leuphana University, Hamburg Wasser, NDR, Airbus and HafenCity University Hamburg.
The visit was organized by Danya Ju from the academic office of Brand University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg. Tao Yang, independent project management officer at Brand University of Applied Sciences, accompanied the group.
Chinese doctoral student Gangli Tan from the professorship for Information Systems and Digital Innovation under Prof. Jan Recker welcomed the delegation to the House of Business Administration and accompanied them through the morning. The program included a presentation on the University of Hamburg and the University of Hamburg Business School, a visit to the University Museum and a campus tour past special places such as the historic Main Building or the Tiny House, which is a meeting and event venue for sustainability. A joint lunch rounded off the get-together.
