Invitation to information session for doctoral students

Dear (future) doctoral students,

The Vice Dean for Research and Graduate Education at University of Hamburg Business School, Prof. Dr. Malte Fliedner, cordially invites you to an information session on

   Wednesday, 5 November 2025, 14h30-15h30, at Moorweidenstr. 18, room 0029. 

Your presence at the session will give you the opportunity to easily network and become personally acquainted to each other.

To this meeting we primarily welcome new doctoral students at our Business School and interested persons, as well as doctoral students who are already following their doctorate and who could complete information with their questions and advice.

You will receive an overview on the formal aspects of a doctorate, application for admission, enrolment, credit points, establishing and handing in your thesis, disputation, and publication of your thesis. This also includes the admin software DOCATA for doctoral studies. You may want to get prepared for the session on our website.

We ask you and the professors at our Graduate School to forward this invitation also to persons of this target goup who might not be in our distribution lists yet, e. g. who very recently joined your team. Thank you.

There is no need to register for the session.
