Committees
In the Faculty of Business Administration (Hamburg Business School), decisions are made by the elected Faculty Council that comprises professors, doctoral research associates, and representatives of the student body and technical and administrative staff.
The Committee for Teaching, Studies and Academic Reform (LuSt-Ausschuss) was established to facilitate broad discussion of academic matters. This committee, which is charged with developing resolution recommendations for the Faculty Council, represents all status groups in the Faculty. Students and professors have an equal number of votes.
The departmental student representative committee represents the interests of the Faculty's students. As members of Universität Hamburg’s student body, the representatives are involved in the committee’s work and have voting rights.
Information on the doctoral committee is available here.
